How Do I Prepare For The Residential?

Planning school residential educational trips can be challenging, with many details and tasks to complete and approve. We at Ec-O-Zone want to make it as easy as possible for you. We will support you every step of the way, from our sales team who will guide you through the process of giving information to parents, to our onsite team who will ensure that we have everything we need to arrange a safe, exciting and educational trip.

Below, we have provided some information on various topics, such as Terms and Conditions, food options and safety measures. Our sales team will provide you with more information, such as menu examples, customised kit lists, parent presentations, staff safer recruitment information, policy information needed for local authorities and additional safety information regarding travel as well as how we can help you with travel arrangements.

Preparing well for school residential educational trips ensures students and teachers have an enjoyable experience

Prior to Camp, the Students will be required to do some planning and preparation including reading the project brief, completing a skills evaluation and attending radio training and navigation training. The project brief will have tasks that the students must complete before entering the immersion areas.

Students will have the opportunity to ask questions to one of the teams that will be looking after your school on the ground – this will be done through a pre-arranged video link. We ask that a teacher from the school facilitates this during the session(s). There will also be a call set up with one of our team for the teachers traveling with the school, so they are fully prepared and understand their role within the immersion area.
